
South African CAF Senior Coaching Instructor Urban De Cock has apologised to Malawi for Xenophobia attacks by country men in South Africa.
De Cock was in the country to examine 27 local coaches who were taking part in the elite CAF A Coaching Licence course.
Speaking at the closing ceremony De Cock condemned the Xenophobia saying it does not have place a in Africa.
“I would like to apologies for the barbaric acts by some of our brothers on people from other countries like Malawi. On behalf of other South African I apologies.
“We are one and that is why I am here to interact with you on football matters,” he said.
In the past few weeks there have been rampant attacks by South African on foreign nationals which resulted to death, injury and loss of property to some Malawians living in South Africa
