The Football Association has since 2002 invested heavily in girls’ and women’s football in Malawi – and will continue to do so.

Over recent years the association has successfully established Elite Women’s Regional League and two national teams; The Women’s Senior National Team and the Women’s Under 20 National Football Teams.

FAM has also launched a number of programme aimed at increasing increase participation levels.
