Nyondo gest his first of the season

Nyondo

Flames striker Atusaye Nyondo scored his first league goal of the season as his lone strike gave University of Pretoria a 1-0 win over Mpumalanga Black Aces in the South African Absa Premiership..
Nyondo scored after just six minutes, striking home a Thabiso Nkoana’s cross. However he could only last  for 20 minutes as he got injured and was substituted for Vuyisile Ntombayitheni.
His strike was enough to condemn his compatriot Limbikani Mzava and his aces to a third league defeat. Mzava played a full game for Aces.
Elsewhere Robert Ng’ambi came off the bench in the 76th minute to inspire Platinum Stars to a great comeback 2-1 win over giants Kaizer Chiefs.
With Chiefs looking set to win the match 1-0 Ng’ambi set Elieezer Rodgers to level the scores in the 85th minute. Rodgers then went on to grab the match winner in injury time .
On Friday Esau Kanyenda started for Polokwane City but could do little to save them from being hammered 5-0 by Bidvest Wits.
