FAM to facilitate 3 D License courses.

The newly trained FAM Coach educators will facilitate three D Licence Coaching courses in three districts during the Festival Season.

Last week FAM oriented the educators on modern ways of training coaches and they will be thrown straight into action as they will facilitate courses in Mzimba, Nkhatabay and Chiradzulu districts.

The Courses have been organised with funding from the Ministry of Education through respective District Education Managers while FAM will provide technical expertise through the Coach Educators.

FAM Technical Director John Kaputa said the 7-day courses will take place between 28-24 December in Mzimba, 19-25 December in Nkhatabay and 21-27 December in Chiradzulu .

“The courses have come at the right time just a week after the Coach Educators underwent a three-day course and they have fresh minds and new approach in delivering the courses.

“With most of the participants being school teachers, it is our hope that the development of football through teaching young players will be achieved because these are the people who will be drilling our boys and girls in schools who in the end will form better national teams,” he said.

Benjamin Kumwenda and McNelbert Kazuwa will facilitate the Mzimba course while MC Williams Nkunika and Davie Mpima will facilitate the Nkhatabay course. In Chiradzulu the course will be facilitated by Eddingtone Ng’onamo and  Karen Chawula.

Each Coaching Course will have 30 participants drawn from the respective districts
