Malawian players’ update in SA

Gabadinho enjoying game time

Frank ‘Gabadinho’ Mhango played the entire 90 minutes as his South African Absa Premiership side Bloemfontein Celtic went down 2-3 to Robin Ngalande’s Ajax Cape Town on Sunday.
Once again, Ngalande was not featured while Celtic’s Malawian defender Limbikani Mzava was thrown in with five minutes to full time.
Ajax are sixth with 40 points from 28 games while Celtic are fifth with the same number of points and from same number of games played.
Seasoned midfielder Robert Ng’ambi’s Platinum Stars, went down 1-2 to Mamelodi Sundowns. Stars are just a step from the relegation zone on 13th position with 31 points from 28 games.
However, Ng’ambi did not feature in that match.
On Saturday, Malawian coach Kinnah Phiri’s Free State Stars revival continued with yet another 2-0 win over Chippa United.
Stars are now in the comfort zone on ninth position with 34 points from 28 games.
