
The Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has released fixtures for the opening week of the TNM Super League.
The opening day will see defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets hosting Moyale Barracks at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre, Kamuzu Barracks will host Civo United whereas runners-up Mafco will entertain Mzuni at Chitowe in Dwangwa.
On Sunday, Red Lions will engage Epac in Balaka, Silver Strikers will face Be Forward Wanderers at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe.
Rookies Max Bullets and Dwangwa United will kick-start their campaign in the top-flight league against Azam Tigers and Mafco at Ksmuzu Stadium and Chitowe respectively.
Sulom general secretary Williams Banda said for the time being, the league will kickoff with 14 teams as they await to identify the other two teams.
This follows Sulom Appeals Committee determination that the play-offs should proceed to despite Dedza Young Soccer’s protest.
The league is also yet to confirm Northern Region Football Association (NRFA) recommendation to promote Karonga United following the withdrawal of Chilumba Barracks.
