The 2016 TNM Super League chase for the Golden Boot Award is proving to be tight and exciting.
Mafco’s marksman Richard Mbulu leads the chart with 11 goals followed by Be Forward Wanderers’ talisman Peter Wadabwa.
Mbulu said his target is to hit 20 goals by the end of the season.
“It is proving to be a tight-race but I will keep my feet to the ground,” said Mbulu.
Nyasa Big Bullets’ Chiukepo Msowoya, who was last season’s joint top scorer with Red Lions’ Innocent Bokosi, comes third with nine goals.
Epac FC’s Anthony Banda and leaders’ Blue Eagles’ Maxwell Salambula come fourth with eight goals apiece.
