Tabitha signs for French Giants PSG

French Women’s top-flight league outfit Paris Saint Germain (PSG) on Wednesday unveiled revered Malawian women’s football star Tabitha Chawinga after signing her on a one-year loan deal from Chinese Superleague side Wuhan Jiangda.

In an interview, the Scorchers captain said she is set for the new challenge.

“I am excited because they are one of the best teams in the world and I look forward to playing in the Uefa Women’s Champions League. I want to score many goals,” she said.

PSG are scheduled to face Manchester United in one of the 12 two-legged knockout ties. PSG had a good start to their 2023/24 campaign beating Bordeaux 3-0 last week.
