South, North Women Pres Cup finalists identified

South Champions Blantyre Zero

Blantyre Zero and Super Dynamos will represent and Southern and Northern regions in the national finals of the Presidential Cup.
Blantyre Zero emerged Southern Region champions after thumping their rivals Ntopwa Super Queens 5-1 while in the North, Dynamos edged Moyale 1-0.
Temwa Chawinga was the shining star for Zero when she banged four goals while Mary Chavinda scored the other.
Chawinga—young sister to Sweden-based professional Tabitha— reached the 20-goal mark in three games to grab the K10 000 top-goal-scorer’s accolade
Laita Magombo scored the consolation goal for Ntopwa.
In Mzuzu Super Dynamos, formerly Kwaito Sisters, scored through Ida Kanthenga in the 85th minute.
Champions for the Centre will be identified this weekend when rivals Skippers and DD Sunshine meet in the regional finals.
