Press Release on U 17

The Football Association of Malawi has released the Technical panel for the Malawi Under-17 National Team which is expected to take part in the COSAFA Under-17 tournament slated for 22nd to 31st July 2016 in Port Louis in Mauritius. The Technical panel is as follows:-
Head Coach: Mr Derklerk Msakakuona (CAF A)
Assistant Coach: Mr.Tione Mhone (CAF A)
Team Manager: Mr. Mike Banda (Kamuzu Academy)
Goalkeepers’ Trainer: Mr.Heathwin Nkumbaleza CAF A)
The Under-17 team is expected to start camp training on Sunday 10th July 2016 at Mpira Village. In the meantime, FAM is calling all talented U- 17 players to attend trials which will be conducted this week in all the regions to identify players for the camp. All players eligible to participate in the trials must be born on or after 1st January 2000. The players will undergo intensive age screening before the trials and they are requested to bring personal identifications like passports, birth certificates and a school ID which must be accompanied with a letter from their school signed by the head teacher. The trials will be held on Wednesday 6th July 2016 and Thursday 7th July 2016 as follows:
Blantyre:  Mpira Stadium
Zomba:  Zomba Community Centre Ground
Lilongwe:  Nankhaka Stadium
Mzuzu: Mzuzu Stadium
