Pasuwa Names 23 Local Players for Flames Camp Ahead of Four Nations Tournament

Flames head coach Kalisto Pasuwa has named a 23-member locally based squad to enter camp on Saturday, 7 March 2026 as Malawi begins preparations for the Four Nations Tournament scheduled for 23 to 31 March 2026 in Botswana.

The tournament will be played at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown and falls within the March FIFA international window. The matches will form part of the Flames’ preparations for upcoming AFCON qualifying assignments following their last international fixture against Lesotho in November.

Pasuwa has handed maiden senior national team call-ups to defenders Dan Sandukira, Hermas Masinja and Charles Mafaiti, as well as forward Wallace Adam.

The Flames coach is expected to announce his final squad, which will include foreign-based players, closer to the FIFA international break.
