Nomads make it two wins in two

Be Forward Wanderers beat struggling Ntopwa FC 4-1 on Wednesday afternoon to register their first back to back wins of the season.

Hendrix Misinde put Ntopwa in the lead in the 33rd minute before Peter Wadadwa scored from a direct corner kick to bring the Nomads level 10 minutes later.

Babatunde Adepoju, Stanley Sanudi and substitute Isaac Kaliati got on the scoresheet to give the Nomads all the three points at the expense of the Amaghetto Kids who missed a spot-kick in injury time.

This was Ntopwa’s third straight loss since the resumption of the league on 1st April 2020 while the Nomads managed a first double win follwing a 4-0 win over Chitipa United on Saturday.

The Nomads have now climbed into the eighth position with 16 points from 11 games and are 8 points behind leaders Civo Service who have played a game more than the 2017 champions.

On the other hand. Ntopwa have now slipped into the 10th position.
