Mpinganjira Names Malawi U23 Squad for Eswatini Qualifiers
Malawi Under-23 Men’s National Football Team head coach Bob Mpinganjira has named a 24-member squad for the CAF Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Eswatini.
The first leg will be played in Eswatini on 28 September 2026, before Malawi host the return match at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on 6 October 2026.
The squad is expected to assemble in Blantyre on Thursday, 10 September 2026, to begin camp training ahead of the two-legged assignment.
The winner of the two-legged tie will face Algeria in the second round of the qualifiers.
A further qualification would set up a potential third-round clash against the winner from the pathway involving Zimbabwe, Mauritius and Mali.
