Mpima, Kazuwa in SA for Coach Educators Course

Two Malawian Coach Educators, Davie Mpima, McNelbert Kazuwa are in South Africa for a five-day FIFA/CAF Coach Educators Development Programme.

The course, which has attracted 15 Coach Educators from the Cosafa Region, started on Monday, 16th October and will end on Friday, 20th October 2023.

Four years ago, FAM Technical Director Benjamin Kumwenda and late Stuart Mbolembole also underwent a similar course in Zambia.

Mpima and Kazuwa have this year been involved as instructors in the two CAF C Coaching Courses that FAM has conducted alongside the TD.

Among other things, the Coach educators will go through adult learning principles, participant theory and practical delivery and feedback.

Kumwenda said the two coach educators will help in producing better coaches in the country as they will have learnt basic principles of coach education by the end of the of the programme.

Kazuwa and Mpima will continue with online lessons until they are fully certified as Coach Educators.

FIFA Instructors Zunaid Mall, Mohamed Basir, Jose Galves and Frans Mogashoa are facilitating the course
