Media Release:  Clarification on FIFA Central Review 2022

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) would like to alert its stakeholders  that the document that is making rounds on social media purportedly showing findings of a FIFA Central Review is fake and should be dismissed.

We are pleased to clarify that FAM does not have any audit queries regarding FIFA Forward 3.0 programs. FAM in compliance to corporate governance conducts Statutory Audits annually. The audit reports following approval by the General Assembly are published and shared with all the stakeholders. Such reports together with other information about the programs, projects, sponsorships and activities are available on www.fam.mw.

FAM would like to assure all football stakeholders that it remains resolute in compliance to its governance processes and regulations and will continue to exercise transparency and accountability.
