Malawi’s Under-15 boys’ and girls’ teams return to action this morning as they face Botswana in their second matches of the CAF African Schools Championship in Cape Town, South Africa.
Both fixtures kick off at 10:00 am at Idas Valley Stadium, with the boys playing on Pitch 3 and the girls on Pitch 4.
Following Friday’s wins over Lesotho, both camps are upbeat. Boys’ coach Joseph Malizani said:
“This is another crucial game. We need to win with more goals so that we can progress to the next level of the competition.”
Girls’ coach Bridget Chirwa added:
“The girls are prepared, having been motivated by the big win against Lesotho yesterday. Our approach is to kill the game in the first half.”
