Malawi U15 Teams Begin COSAFA Quest in South Africa

Malawi’s Under-15 boys’ and girls’ teams have safely arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, ahead of the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship COSAFA Qualifiers set for December 5–7 at Stellenbosch University.

Following Tuesday’s draw, Malawi was placed in Group C alongside Lesotho and Botswana. Both teams will be vying for a place in the semifinals as they chase regional glory in their respective categories.

The junior sides will open their campaign on Friday morning against Lesotho before taking on Botswana on Saturday, also in the morning.

The teams a hold their first training session this afternoon as preparations for the tournament get underway.
