Malawi Defence Force (MDF) sides Mafco and Moyale Barracks at the weekend became the first teams to qualified for the semi-finals of the Presidential Cup.
Mafco, who are the defending champions, pipped a strong-willed Dwangwa United 1-0 at Chitowe Stadium in Dwangwa.
Mafco’s marksman Richard Mbulu scored the lone goal of the match.
The Salima-based soldiers will meet winners between Kabwafu and Nyasa Big Bullets.
Moyale sailed through after beating Epac FC 2-1
After a goalless first half, Moyale stepped up the tempo in the second half and scored two quick goals through Chrispin Fukizi and Kuda Muyawa but Innocent Tanganyika pulled one back for Epac but it was too little too late.
Moyale will face winners between Be Forward Wanderers and Max Bullets.
