Midfielder Joseph Kamwendo has sealed his return to Be Forward Wanderers by signing a two-year contract.
This follows a termination of his contract with Mozambican top-flight league side Liga Desportiva de Maputo.
Kamwendo and Wanderers general secretary Mike Butao confirmed the development.
Said Kamwendo: “I still had two months remaining on my contract but I agreed to a mutual termination because I felt it was time I returned home to be close to my family, especially my kids. They are always on my mind.
“Wanderers has always been dearest to my heart and I am happy to return to the team I love so much,” he said.
On his part, Butao said Kamwendo will help add a touch of experience to the team.
“He has always been a Nomad and we are happy to have him back,” he said.
