Gerald Phiri Jnr. gets first Flames call up

Caps United midfielder Gerald Phiri Jnr has earned a first ever Flames call up as the team goes into camp this Sunday at the Chiwembe Technical Centre in preparation for a friendly match against Tanzania away on 28th March.

Phiri was outstanding for Caps when they played two friendly matches in the country against Silver Strikers last Sunday and Big Bullets yesterday.
The local players will camp for about two weeks while all the foreign based players will join the team in Tanzania.
The local based players are asked to report for camping on Sunday 8th March 2015 at 5 pm. The following is the full squad:
