Gabadinho ends goal drought

Flames striker Gabadinho Mhango ended his eight match goal drought as he scored in Orlando Pirates’ 3-0 win over Tsakhuma  in the DSTV Premiership on Wednesday afternoon.

This was Mhango’s second league goal of the season and his first came back in October, on the opening day of the season, in a one all draw against Amazulu.

The reigning PSL top goal scorer netted Pirates’ second goal in the 38th minute , finishing of with a left footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner after being put through by Thembinkosi Lorch.

Mhango trails leading scorer Bradly Groble of Superspot United by eight goals .

Elsewhere Flames defender Limbikani Mzava captained Amazulu for the first time as they went down 1-0 to Kaizer Chiefs.

John Maduka’s Bloemfontein Celtic lost 2-1 at home to Supersport United.
