Flames regroup today

The Flames local based players regroup today for the second week of camping in preparation for next week’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Tunisia.

According to FAM Competitions and Communications director Gomezgani Zakazaka 19 players have been summoned for the second week.

They include players from Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Silver Strikers who missed the first week due to club engagements.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets players have again been exempted due to the team’s tight schedule.

“The technical panel will continue working with the players for three days between Monday and Wednesday and then release them  for club assignments. The team will then regroup over the weekend and leave for Liberia on Monday. The list of foreign based players will be announced during the week,” said Zakazaka.
