
The Malawi national football team leave the country on Thursday for South Africa for the 2015 Cosafa Cup.
The team will fly out in the morning and is expected to train in South Africa later in the evening.
The Flames will play South Africa in a training match on Friday evening in Johannesburg before proceeding to Rustenburg whey they will play Mozambique in the Cosafa quarterfinal on Monday.
Coach Young Chimodzi has named a squad of seven foreign based players and 13 locals for the trip.
The following is the full squad:
Goalkeepers: Mcdonald Harawa, Charles Swini
Defenders: Limbikani Mzava, Bashir Maunde, Yamikani Fodya, John Lanjesi, Lucky Malata and Francis Mlimbika
Midfielders: Chimango Kayira, Fischer Kondowe, Micuim Mhone, John Banda, Frank Banda, Gerald Phiri JNR, Chikoti Chirwa and Ernest Tambe.
Strikers: Robin Ngalande, Muhammad Sulumba, Tizgowere Kumwenda and Zicco Mkanda.
