Flames’ Guinea match Tickets hit market

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) is pleased to inform Malawians and all football fans that preparations for the AFCON Qualifier match between Malawi and Guinea playing on Saturday 9th September at Bingu National Stadium (BNS) are at an advanced stage.

We expect fans to turn up in large numbers following the exploits of the rebranded national team at the COSAFA tournament. FAM has therefore put in place several initiatives to ensure safety and security, revenue optimization, and exciting fans’ experience. The initiatives include:

  1. Match day Ticketing Period

The advance ticketing window started on Tuesday 29th August and will run until Friday 8th September 2023. The advance ticket sales will help to reduce congestion at the gates, safeguard revenue and afford the fans the opportunity to secure the tickets at their own convenient time.

  1. Ticket Pricing

Tickets are competitively priced. And discount incentives have been offered on all advance tickets. In addition, all fans who are buying the Flames replica jerseys during this period are instantly being rewarded with a free standard ticket to the match.

  1. Safety and Security

Extra measures have been taken to step up safety and security of players, the fans and property. Additional private security firms will be engaged to support the efforts of police and stewards.
