After a four-hour road trip from Mpumalamga in South Africa, the Flames yesterday afternoon arrived in Swaziland’s capital Mbabane for tomorrow’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations’ showdown against Sihlangu Simnikati.
The Flames are camping at the 4.5 star Lugogo Sun Hotel and loosened up after a brief rest.
Coach Ernest Mtawali said they had their final training session in Mpumalanga early in the morning.
“We had a workout for one and a half hours then a photo session before starting off and I can confidently say the boys are looking good,” said Mtawali in an interview through WhatsApp.
Captain Lilmbikani Mzava also played down suggestions that the road trip could affect them.
“Not really. We are already in the process of recovery,” he said.
