The final promises to be a thrilling spectacle as two of Malawi’s biggest football clubs go head-to-head for the prestigious FDH Bank Cup title. Both sides advanced to the final after hard-fought semifinal victories, with Silver Strikers defeating Civil Service United 1-0 and Mighty Wanderers edging FCB Nyasa Big Bullets by the same scoreline.

The Blantyre derby win came just a week after Wanderers’ emphatic 3-0 triumph over Bullets in the TNM Super League, having also won the first-round encounter earlier in the season.

In the quarterfinals, Wanderers eliminated Creck Sporting Club, while Bullets advanced after beating lower-league side The Boyz 3-0. Civil Service United reached the semifinals by defeating Mchinji Villa from the NBS Bank National Division League, with Silver Strikers booking their place after knocking out defending champions Blue Eagles.
