FAZILI NAMES MOROCCO FRIENDLY SQUAD

Scorchers head coach Lovemore Fazili has named a 24-member squad for a friendly match against Morocco in Casablanca next week.

The Scorchers are set to face the Atlas Lionesses on Thursday, June 19, and are expected to depart on Sunday, June 15.

Fazili has included Five foreign based namely captain Tabitha Chawinga , 2022 COSAFA under-17 girls’ championship top scorer Rose Kabzere (Montpellier-France), attackers Vanessa Chikupila (Biik Kazygurt), Sabina Thom (Lanchkhuti) and Defender Benadetta Mkandawire (Biik Kazygurt)

This will be the fifth international friendly for the scorchers in 2025 after two matches against Zambia in February and another two against South Africa in March.
