FAM Women’s League Week 8 preview

It is a busy weekend  for The FAM Southern Region Women’s League defending Champions Nyasa Big Bullets Women as they play catch up after being on bye for three weeks.

The Maggie Chombo side have played the least number of matches in the Southern region as five of their players were with the Scorchers camp at the 2022 Cosafa Women’s Championship.

Bullets will face Blantyre Hotspurs at BAT on Saturday before meeting Attu Bullets at Chikowi Community Ground on Sunday.

Central Region has scheduled only one match this week as defending Champions DD Sunshine will host Destiny Academy on Saturday.

In the North, Chicago Sisters will host Bico Women on Saturday before facing Ekwendeni Sisters on Sunday.

As it stands, four teams from the north have finished their first-round fixtures while four others have one and two games to go.
