FAM, Sulom meet Super League clubs supporters

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) held a significant supporters interface meeting at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on Sunday morning.

The event brought together representatives from all 16 Super League clubs, marking the third time time that FAM and the Super League of Malawi (SULOM) have organized such an important gathering.

The meeting aimed at bringing stronger communication and collaboration between the football governing bodies and the club supporters, ensuring that the voices of the fans are heard and that their concerns are addressed.

The interface serves as a platform for discussing the challenges and opportunities within the league and seeking ways to enhance the overall football experience in Malawi.

FAM Competitions Chairperson, Felister Dossi, emphasized the importance of these interactions.

“This interface is a crucial opportunity for us to engage directly with the supporters. Their passion and dedication are what drive our clubs and the league as a whole. By listening to their feedback and working together, we can continue to improve the standard of football in Malawi and create a more vibrant and inclusive football culture,” said Dossi.

Speaking at the event MAFCO FC supporters General Secretary Yassin Cassim said :“Since the start of this interface between FA and SULOM there has been a huge significant change in the operations by supporters on Matchday operations unlike before”

The meeting covered various topics, including matchday experiences, security measures, and the overall development of the sport in the country.

As FAM and SULOM continue to hold these regular interface meetings, the hope is that they will strengthen the relationship between the football authorities and the fans, leading to a more united and successful football community in Malawi.
