FAM sends solidarity message to Dedza Dynamos

The Football Association of Malawi has expressed its solidarity to Dedza Dynamos for the incident that befall them on Friday in Dedza.

Dynamos were involved in a road accident as they were going to training in preparation for their Super League match against Sable Farming which was scheduled to take place at Balaka Stadium on Saturday.

Fourteen players and team officials were in the vehicle that collided with a pick up coming from their opposite direction and the team members suffered minor injuries but are all in stable condition.

Sulom has since postponed the match on Saturday to give time to the players and official to recover.

FAM President Walter Nyamilandu Manda sent a message of support to Dynamos wishing the players and officials quick recovery.

“On behalf of FAM and the Football Fraternity we would like to express our concern on the incident. Our thoughts go to the injured players and officials to whom we wish a quick recovery so that they return to action as soon as possible,” said Nyamilandu Manda.
