The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Super League of Malawi (SULOM) Executive Member, Henry Banda.
Banda passed away after a short illness.
He was a dedicated football administrator whose commitment, integrity and passion made a significant contribution to the growth and transformation of football in Malawi.
Banda served SULOM with distinction and played an important role in advancing football administration in the country. His passing is a profound loss to SULOM, FAM and the entire Malawi football community.
On behalf of the entire football fraternity, FAM extends its heartfelt condolences to the Banda family, SULOM, friends and all those affected by this great loss.
