FAM Mourns Masanjala

The Football Association of Malawi is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Malawi National Football Team Coach, Alex Masanjala.

Coach Masanjala passed away this morning at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre.

He led the Flames as a Co- Caretaker Coach alongside Young Chimodzi between July 1997 and January 1998.

On behalf of the entire football fraternity, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and all those affected by this great loss.

Mr. Masanjala was a dedicated coach whose passion and commitment to the game inspired many. His passing is a significant loss to Malawian football.

May his family and loved ones find strength and comfort during this difficult time.

The funeral programme will be communicated later on.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
