FAM Mourns Mama Agnes Mkandawire

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has learned with profound sorrow of the passing of Mama Agness Mkandawire, mother of FCB Nyasa Big Bullets kit manager Melina Mkandawire.

Mama Agness collapsed immediately after a National Women’s League match between Moyale Barracks Women and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in Mzuzu yesterday.

She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she tragically passed on.

On behalf of the FAM President Fleetwood Haiya Executive Committee and the entire football fratenity we extend our deepest condolences to Melina, the Mkandawire family, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, and the entire football community.

We stand with you during this painful time and share in your grief.

The Association calls upon the football fraternity to stand together in support of the bereaved family during this difficult moment.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them, and may the soul of the departed rest in eternal peace.
