FAM mourns former Silver captain Robert

The Football Association of Malawi has learnt with great sadness on the passing of former Silver Strikers captain Mike Robert  who died on Tuesday 3rd September 2024.

FAM President Fleetwood Haiya has led the football fraternity in mourning Robert.

“I am profoundly grieved by the death of Mike Robert. The contribution that Mike made to our football and the beautiful memories he left us are but immeasurable.

“Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and the whole football community. His memory will forever be indelibly written on our hearts. May his gentle soul rest in peace,” said Haiya.
