FAM is mourning the death of Blantyre District Sports Officer John Chiutsi who passed on this morning at Mulambe hospital.
Chiutsi will be laid to rest today in chilobwe.
He was the Supervisor of Blantyre Urban FC which play in the FAM Under 16 League.
Chiutsi also served in the Local Organising Committe of the 2019 Cosafa – Council of Southern Africa Football Associations Under 17 Championship which Malawi hosted last year.
FAM President Mr. Walter Nyamilandu Manda said, “Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel for the loss. He was such a great son of our game and will be sorely missed.He was passionate about youth football and served well in the COSAFA U17 LOC last year. May His Soul Rest in Peace.”
