FAM Launches 2025 Stadium Inspections

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has commenced the first phase of stadium inspections ahead of the 2025 football season. The exercise, running from today until Friday, 24 January 2025, will cover 14 stadiums across the country.

FAM Licensing and Compliance Manager, Clement Kafwafwa, highlighted the importance of the inspections, stating, “The first inspection is not merely a regulatory formality but a strategic opportunity for stadium owners to enhance their facilities and align with global standards.”

The inspections are intend to make sure that all venues fulfil the necessary criteria for hosting competitive matches while prioritising the safety of players, officials, and supporters.
