FAM AND KWENDA ANNOUNCE GROUND-BREAKING PARTNERSHIP

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) is excited to announce Kwenda as its first e-ticketing partner for all FAM-organized matches, marking a huge milestone in the association’s transformation agenda to be more innovative, efficient, and modern in developing the game of football.

Fleetwood Haiya, FAM President, said: “We are excited to partner with Kwenda, a local e-commerce company offering top-class innovative solutions. This partnership provides an innovative platform, convenient for our fans to access our services. As we pilot this new innovation at the 2024 NBS Bank Charity Shield, we are hopeful that this is a step in the right direction as we elevate the profile of our football and deliver value to our stakeholders.”

The partnership will officially launch with a pilot run at the 2024 NBS Bank Charity Shield, where fans will be able to purchase tickets online.

This collaboration reflects FAM’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency, improve fan engagement, and generate new revenue streams to support football development across Malawi.
