Dedza withdraw from play-offs

Dedza Young Soccer

Dedza Young Soccer Saints have pulled out from the TNM Super League play-offs.
The Dedza-based side has also said it will vacate the injunction it obtained from High Court which stopped the play -offs.
This follows a decision by Super League of Malawi (Sulom) Appeals Committee that the play-offs should proceed.
This means only two teams, Airborne Rangers and Wizards, will battle it out for the 16th slot.
Wizards won the only and opening match of the play-offs against Airborne.
However, Sulom general secretary Williams Banda said in the meantime, they would wait for the court’s determination before deciding on the way forward.
