Cosafa releases 2022 competitions calendar

The Council for Southern Africa Football Associations (Cosafa) has released  its 2022 Competitions calendar.

The men’s Cosafa Cup will open this year’s competitions calendar between 5-17 July while CAF Women’s Champion League Cosafa qualifiers will follow between 4-14 August 2022.

The Cosafa Women’s Championship is scheduled between August 31st and September 11 with the Cosafa Beach Soccer will be held between 17-25 September.

The Boys’ Under-20 Championship, which will also be used as a qualifier for the 2023 CAF U20 Boys’ Afcon Qualifier, has been eye-marked for 6-16 October and the inaugural CAF African Schools’ Championship Qualifier will take place between October 28 and November 6.

The Cosafa U17 Girls Championship has been scheduled together with the U17 boys Championship will be used as the 2023 CAF U17 Boys’ Afcon Qualifier. These tournaments will be played as part of the Region 5 games to be hosted by Malawi between November 30 and December 10 2022 .
