The K9 million Chipiku Stores Central Region Football Association (CRFA) Premier League kicks off this Saturday with a single match between TN Stars and Mchinjo Boma Stars at Kabvunguti.
On Sunday, there will be three more games featuring Balang’ombe Real Bombers and Tuyini United, Kasungu Police will host Mchinji Boma Stars whereas Mbabvi United will take on Nambuma at Mbavi ground.
CRFA League general secretary Bernard Chiwiruwiru Harawa said all is set for the second round.
“Teams had ample time to rest and we also tried to look at the challenges we faced in the first-round such as officiation and we hope to start on a good note,” he said.
Masters Security Services top the 22-team Premier League with 41 points but they are tied with Holy Cross Ambassadors, who are second due to an inferior goal difference.
Support Battalion are third with 40 points. In Division One, Top Valley top the chart with 43 points, two ahead of second-placed Mitundu United whereas Food FC are third with 40 points.
Tontolinto top Division Two with 45 points, four points ahead of second-placed Play Football Malawi whereas Simbi are third with 38 points.
