
Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has set September 10 as the date for the finals of the Carlsberg Cup.
However , according to the Competitions Manager Gomezgani Zakazaka the venue for the final match will be announced at a later stage.
He also said the first semi-final match between Be Forward Wanderers and Mangochi Police will be played on August 27 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre while Civo Stadium will host the second one in which Silver Strikers will meet winners between Mafco and Nyasa Big Bullets on August 28.
Mafco and Bullets meet in the last quarter-final match this Saturday at Civo Stadium.
To qualify for the semis, Wanderers pipped Prison United 1-0 while Silver edged Red lions by a similar margin. Both matches were played in Balaka.
Meanwhile, FAM has announced gate charges for Saturday’s last quarter-final. According to Zakazaka, Open Stands have been pegged at K1,500, Covered Stands: K3,000 while a ticket at the VIP will cost K5,000
