TNM Super League defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets on Wednesday moved a step up to ninth position on the log table after walloping MTV Max Bullets 5-1.
In a one sided match staged at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre, the People’s Team dominated the proceedings.
Following the win, Big Bullets now have 19 points from 11 games while Max are winless and still anchor the 16-team league with four points.
Captain Chiukepo Msowoya struck a brace to take his tally to eight, just a goal behind leading scorer Mafco FC’s Richard Mbulu.
MacFarlen Ngwira, Fischer Kondowe and Mussa Manyenje scored a goal each while Tony Biasi scored the consolation goal for the rookies.
Despite the loss, Max Bullets coach Trevor Kajawa is still upbeat that his team can still survive relegation.
Bullets team manager Rahim Ishmael said their aim is to get into top five at the end of the first round.
Silver Strikers top the table with 26 points from 12 games.
