Bullets begin Super league 2nd round in style

Reigning champions Nyasa Big Bullets begun the second round of the TNM Super League in spectacular fashion on Wednesday when they beat PremierBet Wizards 2-0 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
New signings Telekeleni ‘Anzeru’ Joseph and Collen Nkhulambe stole the show with a vintage show and Joseph even spiced it up with a goal as the People’s Team made their intent to defend the title for the second consecutive time, clear.
The win saw Bullets move three places up from sixth to third. They now have 28 points from 15 games while Wizards are still stuck in the relegation zone on position 14 with 12 points from a similar number of games.
Winger MacFarlen Ngwira drew first blood for Bullets in the 67th minute.
Then Joseph wrapped it up by punishing his former team in the closing stages with a strike of utter beauty.
Wizards technical director Peter Mponda admitted that they gave Bullets so much respect more especially in the second half.
“In the first half we showed some resilience and managed to contain them but in the second-half, we lost it all. We lost concentration and conceded the two goals,” he said.
On his part, Bullets  team manager Rahim Ishmael said it was an impressive start to the second and last round.
