TNM Super League defending champions Big Bullets will be aiming to extend the lead at the top of the table when they host Airborne Rangers at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre on Saturday.
Bullets have 26 points from 12 games, two ahead of second-placed Mighty Be Foward Wanderers who will take on Moyale on Sunday at the same venue.
Bullets remain the only unbeaten side, but have been betrayed by a number of draws.
After Saturday’s game, they will remain with one game to wrap up the first round against Epac FC.
“It will boost our confidence if we can win against Airborne going into our last first-round game against Epac,” said Bullets exciting midfielder Dalitso Sailesi.
Airborne are 10th on the log table with 12 points from 12 games.
Blue Eagles who are third with 23 points from 12 games, take on Mzuni who are second from the bottom with eight points from 12 games.
Eagles can go top if they beat Mzuni and Bullets falter against Airborne.
In other matches slated for Saturday, Fisd Wizards who anchor the table with six points from nine games, host Moyale at Kalulu Stadium in Nchalo while Civo United take on Kamuzu Barracks at Civo Stadium.
On Sunday, Azam Tigers engage Dedza Young Soccer Stars in Nchalo while Mafco take on Epac at Chitowe
