
All is set for the TNM Super League 2016 season kickoff which gets underway on Saturday.
The launch game is between reigning champions Nyasa Big Bullets and Moyale Barracks at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre in a launch game.
Bullets, who are chasing their third successive title, have said they are looking forward to starting their campaign in style.
“Opening matches are always tricky and unpredictable and having won the title twice in a row, every team will be coming hard on us.
“But we are ready. We are not under any form of pressure,” said Bullets team manager Rahim Ishmael.
Moyale’s new coach Collins Nkuna also said he is looking forward to a good start in his new stint with the Kaning’ina soldiers.
Bullets will look up to their talisman Chiukepo Msowoya and new-signing Muhamad Sulumba while in Deus Nkutu and Chrispin Fukizi, Moyale have enough armory.
In other games slated for Saturday, Kamuzu Barracks date Civo United at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe while last season’s runners-up Mafco host Mzuni at Chitowe in Dwangwa, Nkhotakota.
On Sunday, its the big one at Silver Stadium where Silver Strikers will host Be Forward Wanderers. Red Lions date Epac in Balaka whereas rookies Max Bullets get their campaign off the road against Azam Tigers at Kamuzu Stadium.
