The newly established Fisd Challenge Cup gets into full swing at regional level this weekend with 11 matches on schedule.
The Cup will be officially launched on Saturday at Kalulu Stadium in Nchalo.
One match has been played already in the Central Region Playoffs as Lakeshore Valley beat Madisi Mponela 4-1 on Tuesday to set up a quarterfinal tie with Chulu FC of Kasungu.
” The playoff match between Dululu FC and Mwanza Madrid will be part of the launch which will also be spiced up by a live music show by Lucius Banda. The Sports minister is expected to be the Guest of Honour.
” The North and the Centre will be playing quarterfinal matches during the weekend while the South will play five playoffs matches,” said FAM Competitions Manager Gomezgani Zakazaka.
