Defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets and Mafco are closing in on TNM Super League current leaders Blue Eagles as they are now training by three points.
Bullets thumped Kamuzu Barracks 4-1 at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday to move a place up to second position with 31 points from 17 games just like Mafco who pipped Azam Tigers 2-1.
However, Bullets have a better goal difference.
But Silver Strikers also have a chance to go second if they can beat MTV Max Bullets on Wednesday.
