Football Association of Malawi (FAM) president Walter Nyamilandu has said the association technical sub-committee will meet next Saturday to assess the Flames’ performance.
This comes in the wake of the team’s exit from the Cosafa Castle Cup last Thursday following a 1-0 loss to Lesotho’s Likuena in Windhoek, Namibia.
“The technical sub-committee will meeet soon to assess the situation.
“The executive committee will, thereafter, make a determination on the way forward based on the report that will be submitted,” Nyamilandu said.
FAM technical sub-committee chairperson James Mwenda, who is also the association’s vice-president, also confirmed the meeting.
The Flames are now out of all competitions including the 2018 World Cup and the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations
