Flames midfielder Robert Ng’ambi on Sunday scored his third goal in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) as his club Platinum Stars beat Esau Kanyenda’s Polokwane City 3-0.
Ng’ambi was introduced as a second-half substitute and netted the third for Dikwena with 12 minutes to full time..
He is now eight goals behind the leading scorer Collins Mbesuma of Mpumalanga Black Aces.
“I had gone quite a couple of matches and I was excited to find the back of the net,” said Ng’ambi.
His compatriot Robin Ngalande got a rare run after coming in as an 85th minute substitute while Kanyenda was also not featured by Polokwane.
Stars are fifth with 30 points from 17 games while Polokwane are 13th with 21 from 18 games.
