Cobbe Barracks FC retained to the pinnacle of the Nsejjere Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) Premier League following a 2-0 win over their rivals Zomba United at Zomba Community Centre Ground on Sunday.
Following the win, Cobbe now have 42 points from 20 games.
Max Bullets had gone on top albeit temporarily a day earlier after beating Bvumbwe Research.
Bullets are second on 41 points from the same number of games whereas Changalume Barracks are third with 35 points from 20 games.
In Sunday’s match, both sides started at full pace, but the first goal came in the 19th minute when Davie Chimkwezule broke with a simple finish.
McPeter Makwale made it 2-0 minutes later.
